Back in the Saddle! The GR4 was a complete success and a total blast! Thanks to Walt and Fritz for putting on a great ride and to all those who showed up for making it even better. No matter how much we get to ride in California, it's tough to beat the roads up in the Catskills. Twisties, straights, forests, mountains, waterfalls, rivers, lakes, crazy old towns, middle-of-nowhere villages with people who seemed like they'd never seen a scoot... you name it, we found it! Here's a few shots to hold you over 'til I get the fog out of my head and collate all the other goodness.
Loaded up and ready to head east...
Yeah, this area of Colorado is really awesome, but after driving through this same spot 5 times this year already, I'm a little less in awe.
I'm only going to post this one pic of the ride between Wyoming and Ohio... it all looks exactly the freakin' same anyway!

Ok, except for the point where I was in Lincoln, Nebraska and a damn tornado was running alongside the highway! That was a little freaky. After running out of that path, I pulled over and tarped up the bikes and grabbed some shuteye.
Good ol' Craig from Front Street Cycle put me up once I hit Ohio. Thanks man, you rule! Had an entire shop to pull the truck and trailer into. Can't beat that. Only cost me a pizza!
And finally reached Jersey sometime after million of miles of road... safe and sound. Just the way I like it.
Get Those Orders In!!!We're getting close to launch time for the EC-heads-East run, so get your orders in now! All orders received before 5pm Saturday, August 21st (tomorrow) will be shipped out by Monday the 23rd. After that, it'll be hit-or-miss as to when things ship out. Hate to be slackers, but the truth is that this trip will put a damper on shipping for at least a week while we do the cross-country thing.
We pride ourselves on quick shipping and customer service, so please forgive us during this hiatus! We'll be back up to full-speed on September 2 for sure, so hang in there! If you're out east and are going to the Gypsy Run and want something in particular, shoot us an email at sales@eternalcombustion.com and we'll bring it for you. Hand-delivery, it doesn't get much better!
Looking forward to seeing all your ugly muggs out east, so get ready!
SUPPORT!!!OK folks, we're just one of many sponsors looking to do our part to help out a fellow rider and all-around good dude - Lee Bender. Lee's been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. He's facing bills of over 30g's just for work that really doesn't even help him out so far. Our government and so many others won't allow the procedures that, while being experimental, are actually doing good against MS, because the drug companies won't make a buck if they do. Lee's shooting for going overseas to get a procedure that has already helped a ton of folks and can actually remove most if not all the symptoms of MS. We're all stepping up, and so can you. Check the site for all the info on how you can help out even if you don't plan to attend.

More Troop mask goodness!Another one from our buddy Michael showing that the Troop 3 looks even better with a bubble visor! Great work man, looks killer and check it out next to that old Simpson!
We Care A LotReally, we do. We've heard from a few customers that a template or something would help with installation of the Troop face masks. Well, we listened. While we can't really make a template, since each mask is hand made and slightly different, we could make instructions. Now, we're not really instruction-making-people, but we gave it our best shot and here's what we came up with. Feel free to copy this or if you order a mask, you'll magically get it in the box anyways!
Troop Masks for all! Here's Ian's new Troop 3 face mask on his new Motoflake helmet. Looks great man, thanks for the support!
Troop1 Spotted!Thanks to
Blue Collar Chris for grabbing this shot of our buddy George down at the Rooster Cafe. Sorry we missed this month, hopefully, we'll be back from Gypsy Run in time to make the one in September!

Bill and McGoo from Biltwell, along with Joel, Lori, Dan and I all shot out to the heartland to have some fun and make some new friends. Mission Accomplished! We had everything from epic riding to motorhome hotlaps around the horse track, to crazy sunrise donuts in the infield, and on and on. Pics to follow as we get some time to actually dig through everything and clean out the truck... ha!
Last minute prep and Order Status updates!Hey guys, we're packing up the last of the stuff for the Twine Ball Run and will be catching up with the Biltwell boys tomorrow to shoot out to Kansas! Quick shop time...Been working on the new FXDWG between other projects. Got the FUCK! light mounted and the new Deep Dish air cleaner! Wompy's cleaners rule. Period. Like we say, we won't sell it if we won't use it. Here's some proof...

Deep Dish delight!

How she sits right now after cleaning up the electrics, putting on new bars, and the above changes along with some bitchin' Samson pipes. I'm digging this much better than the RG for sure.

Imperial House Killing the Troop 1!!Our buddy Shawn over at
Imperial House totally killed this Troop 1 with the magic striping! Check out the finished product, and when you're done drooling, go buy one at the
STORE and get him to work his magic for you too! This one is headed out to Kurt, that lucky dog.
We love this shit!Ok, every now and again, we get riled up enough to do things like use curse words in our headings. This is one of those times. Took off and had an epic trip with a great group of guys going up north to the GV roll-in. Lots of headaches and heartbreaks along the way. 5 bikes limped back out of 12 or so that started the journey, but bonds were made that will last a long time. If the journey is really the reason for living, this one proved it all! Top it off, got back and found that our buddy Kyle had dropped this in our box to show some love!
Kyle's stoked on some product he got, and we're totally stoked... well... that Kyle's stoked!! It's getting together with great people both in person and through long-distance biz that makes all this worth it! Thanks Kyle, looking forward to seeing you in the flesh at the Twine Ball run!
Weekend Order Update! We will be outta here headed to Grass Valley for the Roll-In tomorrow, so any orders placed after 2pm today will be shipped out on Monday. As always, thanks for all the support and if you're up in NoCal, make sure to hit Grass Valley and we'll buy ya a drink!
We are STILL KICKING!!That's right, we got together with our good pal Wompy over at Still Kicking and got him to let us put his awesome stuff on the site! Check out his newest line of air cleaners for your scoot. They are absolutely killer, and we don't say that about just anything! Beefy castings and top-notch K&N filters. Made in the USA by Wompy himself and have just enough added love to get you down the road in all the style you can handle. We're jazzed and you will be too! Check 'em in the
STORE and make sure to drop by
Wompy's BLOG to say hi too.

Well, maybe we'll just smack ya around a bit, but you get the drift! Last year was great and the guys and gals putting it on are all top-notch in our book. Tell 'em Craze sent ya, but wait until after you've had some food and seen the art, 'cause it might mean a quick exit. Just sayin... ha!
